Pasa Lanta is Located on Koh Lanta (island), Southern Thailand
On the west coast of the Andaman Sea, just east of Ko Phi Phi and Krabi Town, and west of Trang Town, is the island of Lanta (Koh Lanta Yai). Here one can enjoy a tropical resort holiday, scuba dive, learn Thai cooking or, more importantly, learn how to speak Thai. (If you're Thai, however, you may study English.) Koh Lanta has a nice blend of old and new. The local people are still working as fisherman, rubber tree plantations, farming (and not just in tourism), and Lanta has appropriate infrastructure (eg: paved roads, electricity and high-speed Internet.) Lanta island is a very good place to spend a lot of time on.
Pasa Lanta Language Center is located in the town of Klong Dao, about 2 kilometers south of the main town of Saladan (enter the parking lot just left of the Klong Dao 7-11 Store, opposit Best Western Hotel/Resort. Look for our sign on the main road.)
Getting to Koh Lanta
There are many ways to get to Koh Lanta:
- Mini-bus from Trang Town (where there's a railway station)
- Mini-bus from the Krabi airport (airport > Krabi town > Koh Lanta)
- Passenger ferry from Krabi Town pier.
